Wow, a lot of people upset claiming resealed packs and also upset they are not evolving skies packs like advertised

Ive bought plenty of these (Edit: From Target). They are definitely not resealed. The item itself comes shrink wrapped, then the tins individually have a hard plastic shrink wrap. The packs compared to older packs (sword and shield era) are tightly packed and not loose (ie: like in the Heavy Hitters box).
Packs inside were Paldea Evolved and Scarlet and Violet Base.
8 packs = $2.50 per pack; plus a tin is what makes this a good deal. If you like opening packs at a good price this deal is for you.

I would bet a lot of money that 95+% of reviews saying they got resealed packs are from people who's minds haven't developed enough to understand they aren't going to get all the cards they want from spending $20.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the likelihood of getting resealed packs should be low since Target doesn't accept returns on these?

Amazon explicitly announcing you can return it :/

"Eligible for Return, Refund or Replacement within 30 days of receipt
This item can be returned in its original condition for a full refund or replacement within 30 days of receipt."

Risk of reseals seems high

I bought two of these for Christmas and I received zero V cards out of any of the packs. 16 packs and nothing of value was pulled.

Lots of negative comments on these, so I'll chime in with the opposite experience. Got 2 of these for my son on the last black Friday deal. He pulled a ton of good cards and was ecstatic. There is a randomness to it. Seems like he got all your good cards too. I wouldn't get them from Amazon based on easy return policy, but had no problem from target.

I also bought through Target during the bf sale for these and my kid got a ton of rare/holographic cards and his birthday is coming up so I'm gonna order some more through Target. Thanks OP 👍

I bought these from Target on BF and took pictures of the holo cards I got since I wasn't sure what was good or not as I haven't bought cards since the late 90s.

I also bought this for my kid and we got the top 3 cards from each set. Maybe the trick is buying for kids and not to scalp? I bet that's the real reason everyone is so giving negative reviews because even the top cards are only 20-40dollars. But they look nice so the kids don't care

For anyone who is confused about the negative reviews. The drama is because the Pokemon company used promo cards from a different set from 2021. People thought they were getting highly sought after boosters that retail at 6-8$ when instead they got more current/recent booster packs. They took old promos and repackaged in that sense with newer product. hence everyone is pissed. because they thought they were gonna come out ahead and bought a ton

How do you find values on cards? My kid just got into these and I have no reliable info. I'm curious when he opens a pack if he's playing with anything of value I should be setting aside.

I download an app and just scan the cards and it gives me value. On Apple App Store search TCG Player or Poke TCG both work for me.
