You dont have to fill $10 for free pickup. Here is the trick. Add an expensive item into the cart and proceed to continue to checkout until you are in the review screen. Open the cart in another browser tab. Remove the expensive item. Go back to the original tab and continue checkout. It will let you checkout with pickup with the expensive item removed

If you proceed after review, doesn't it mean you have already agreed to the extra/expensive item?

My understanding is you need to buy 2 together cuz the system doesn't track how many you buy. Plus if you buy another one you won't get the 50% off for the 2nd one since it's a separate order.
