I have the Deco W3600 (AX1800). Anyone have experience upgrading this to a higher end / more recent Deco model? My question is whether you have noticed a significant increase in range of coverage. I have an outdoor camera that drops coverage a lot (and a bunch of Nest cams clogging the 2.4ghz band) and I'm wondering if a newer Deco model will help with distance. I doubt it due to physical barriers (walls) but thought I'd ask.

AX routers do not help with the 2.4 GHz band. Your disconnects are due to the the signal strengths of the 2.4 GHz bands. Look for a router with a strong signal like a Asus or Netgear..

What router do you recommend that has a "stronger 2.4ghz band"? Preferably mesh.
How much cost and value increase can we attribute to rising network router costs? I assume they're are increasing product cost with improved components i.e., SFP+ port. Perhaps the compute reqs of wifi 7 are higher too?
I know Ubiquiti has cheaper wifi 7 APs, but don't they require other ubiquiti gear to work?
