Best price I've seen on this thermoformed paddle. I don't own it personally, but I have heard it compares relatively well to Vatic and some of the other budget thermoform paddles on the market.

Good reviews. The redditors (ok, 1 redditor) said that it's basically identical to the CRBN. Looks like it's time to upgrade from my Franklin Devastator (the green Ben Johns one).

Just this paddle nerds opinion but, you can get better paddles for not a lot more. Look for the Vatic Prism, Ronbus R1 or even the Hudef Viva Pro Gen 2. All can be had for a little more $$$ with an easily found discount code. All come with better warranties and are widely used/touted by the pickleball community.

Do NOT buy no name paddles like this. Multiple reviews saying handle broke off after a few months?!? I play EVERY DAY with 4.0+ players who use and abuse name-brand paddles (I play with Selkirk and CRBN) and I've never seen a handle break off. Run away from this deal and buy a name brand legit paddle. This is spam and most of those (or all) positive reviews are fake.

Actually, no name paddles are starting to dominate the market. Vatic, XSPAK, Rombus, etc have very very loyal followings. I would say do your own research.

I personally play at Vatic at the 4.0 level and have not looked back. Way better than my old Joola.

Those brands you listed are NOT no name paddles.

I don't consider Vatic no name (nor did I say that?). I know several people who play with the Vatic Pro, etc. I DO however consider this post a no-name paddle. Vatic doesn't have handles falling off. 🤣

This is not a bad deal at all, especially if you are just getting into pickleball or want to. For reference, the black one is a CRBN1 (not Mx or anything like that - the regular base version) clone and is elongated in shape. The white is a CRBN2 clone and is the square/traditional shape. Put some lead tape at about 4-5 o'clock and 7-8 o'clock is all it really needs. Then you'll get the bug and upgrade to a $200 paddle after 6 months and this will be your backup Smilie that's what I did anyway.

Just my .02. I hear really good things about vatic also but haven't played with one or looked into that.. they might be about $50 more at this price which could be above some people's ceiling. Cheers.

For all I can read, it's graphite. No idea what "new technology, never before seen: means.

I'm interested to know what quality gives Vatic so much credibility with you. That company is run by some 20 something, contract manufacturing in china. I play their paddle and love it but it's not like they have some multimillion dollar r&d budget.

Handles falling off vs No handles falling off. 🤣 Also: https://vaticpro.com/pages/pro-team. Who is on xspak pro team?

They've been selling the same XSPAK paddle since at least October of 2022. I bought one back then as my first carbon fiber faced paddle. I played with it for a good 3 or 4 months and eventually sold it for $50. There's nothing wrong with the paddle. You might buy it and love it. If you have any post sale questions, you may be disappointed as it's not really sold by a company that is exclusively invested in the pickleball market. The other companies mentioned in this thread are "pickleball companies" and as such can offer post sale support. Is it worth the extra $15 - $30 dollars? Only you can answer that.

Here are just a few examples of very popular paddles you can get for close to the XSPAK price. The R1 16 and the Prism Flash are 2 of the top control paddles on many reviewers lists. I included the Hudef paddles as I've owned a couple and have had real good experiences dealing with the company. The Mage is their newest paddle and is a great all court paddle. It's a hybrid shape but, a little longer than some of the other popular hybrid shaped paddles on the market. The gen2 Viva is a beast! I played with it for a while and was sad to see it go but, it was a bit heavy for me (a LOT of fun though!).

Hudef Mage Pro - $85+/- with a discount code
Hudef Viva Pro Gen2 - $110.50+/- with a discount
Ronbus R1 16 - $100+/- with a discount code
Vatic Prism Flash or V7 - $89 with a discount

Of course people do...well, when they aren't being overly judgmental of course. I don't think anyone will argue that this paddle is better than my $36 Franklin set of 2 Decimator paddles and 4 X-40 balls. (Formerly the Ben Johns set before they came out with new paddles and he jumped ship for Joola)

Edit: And I have no idea why the item now says "NJ Devils Jersey". I bought it 1 1/2 years ago to see if we'd like the sport...we love it.
