Anyone dislikes wearing polyester? Staticky as heck. Would much rather cotton.

What happened to TNF? Their clothing used to actually look really nice and it was actually practical.. Perusing through the men's section and the sale section will provide a good laugh. Not at the prices but at what actually got approved to be made. Looks more like they are trying to make a fashion statement rather than practical clothing.

I own this in a full zip hoodie. It fits a little weird but I've had it for 6 years and it still gets the job done. This is a good price.

Static isn't an issue in every climate.

Yep, prefer Polyester over Cotton for Hiking/Backpacking since it will still keep you warm when wet and doesn't get weighted down with water.

No drawcord makes it a tougher buy especially considering the 12F temperature outside right now.

DIY is possible however, cost is minimal, learning curve isn't steep (just watch a short self-explanatory video) and you can add drawcords to other tops and jackets (I am looking at you Eddie Bauer.)

Too much work for a $89 jacket (even if on sale for $44)

I guess it depends on skills, inclination, free time available etc.

Hmm. Sandstone color quarter zip isn't too bad but can't really unsee the fact that it's more of a half zip lol

If you wanted North Face Black Friday week was the time to buy it was 40% off then another 30% off when you joined XPLR free to join. Something for $100 would have been $42. I bought a similar shirt to this one labeled as a shirt jacket, but full zip in black and it was very thin so even at $40 it wasn't worth it, I returned it.

Not sure what people are complaining about. I have one of these and loved it some much that I just bought another one.
