I feel like the superbowl tv sales is a myth, the only good time for TV deals besides late november is early-mid summer when the new models drop and clearances happen.

C3 gets brighter and has support for DTS. If you care about better HDR and audio, then you want the C3.

An 83 is 16 percent bigger than a 77, while a 77 is 40 percent bigger than a 65. So I never understood the huge jump in price.

There are more in pricing than just viewing area. Yield can be an important factor. While I don't know how TV is priced, but for theoretical point of view, yield can be much harder for larger screen size to guarantee there is no dead pixel within the area. So pricing is not going to be linear. Just a thought. 🙂

Just a heads up that last time I bought a refurbished LG from buydig I was told by LG support it is not covered by their 6 month warranty for refurbished products. I ended up returning the TV because it had software issues and any service tech would want at least $100 to come out. Do yourself a favor and just catch a sale on a new one unless you can get it used from someone you trust.

Old doesn't mean bad. My c9 is about on par with the c2's. Many say picture is better. Brightness is better. Has all the same features including hdmi2.2 and it's what 4 or 5 years old?

Bought one last month. Had zero hours on it, well packaged (not LG box) but otherwise mint. Hanging on wall so absence of stand isn't a big concern

The CPS warranty is an accidental damage warranty. Covers drops and screen burn-in but not hardware failures. ie mainboard or similar.

Tempted but I need the stand and it seems to cost $50+ on Ebay. Don't see it for $20 as someone mentioned. Can basically get a Samsung QLED Q70\80 refurbed\open box for around that price and I trust Samsung a lot more than I trust LG QC.
