While this is a good price, this laptop isn't nearly as good as you'd think just by glancing at the specs.
The first major issue is how low wattage the 3070 is, it's listed as having a 105w maximum graphics power which is extremely low (maximum wattage for a mobile 3070 is 150w). The 3070 in this laptop will likely perform closer to a full power mobile 3060, though it retains a sizable advantage by having 8gb of vram.
The second major issue is the screen, 45% ntsc is similar to ~65% srgb coverage which is extremely low. The brightness is 250 nits, which is quite dim. A 144hz refresh rate is nice, but response times won't be great. Overall, this uses a budget tier gaming laptop screen that really shouldn't be on anything over $600, colors will be completely washed out and it will appear very dim when used anywhere bright.
The third major issue is the battery, gaming laptops are already notorious for having poor battery life and this one only has a 53whr battery which is very low capacity (the maximum you'll find in a laptop are 99whr). Battery life for this laptop is exceptionally poor, especially while gaming.
I'd say this laptop is a decent deal at this price point, just by virtue of having a gpu with 8gb of vram it's got a major advantage over other laptops in it's price range. The 12700h is a perfectly serviceable processor for a laptop in this price tier, and while being on ddr4 is unfortunate it realistically won't have too major of an impact on performance. A 512gb ssd is also standard. Overall, so long as you can tolerate the low tier screen and bad battery life, and don't have unrealistic expectations of the gpu in this performing much better than a full powered mobile 3060, this is a decent deal.
