1.) 4k versions pretty much guaranteed vs who knows right now at VUDU.
2.) Free 4k upgrades from Apple if the movies get upgraded later.
3.) I trust Apple to not mess things up. Movies anywhere only works when given the right information. I have had some issues with VUDU not relaying the right information.
4.) Apple has the best quality so most of my digital is direct from them, even if it is MA.

Interesting. Also, I though Apple's quality was best.

Let's say I buy a MA eligible title through iTunes in HD format, but a year from now Apple upgrades it to 4k.
Will that 4k also port over to Movies Anywhere? If I decide to watch in my Vudu app, for example, and the 4k version is available on both iTunes and Vudu at this point… would Vudu default to 4k since iTunes upgraded me? Or would Vudu still show HD format since that's how I initially bought it / would I need to stream via Apple to get the 4k upgrade?
Another question: let's say I buy a movie through Vudu and it is Movies Anywhere compatible… and I decide to stream it using Apple TV via MA rather than through Vudu… will the quality be higher? I saw someone in this thread remark that Apple TV is usually higher quality (maybe due to bitrate?) than other apps.
I have thus far been buying most of my titles through Vudu, so I don't really want to switch to Apple at this point for non-MA titles since I don't want my library disconnected across multiple apps… but for future MA titles I'm wondering if I should redeem them through Apple to future proof myself.
