Boss makes a dollar, I make a dime. That is why I poop on company time.

I agree. Mine broke 8 months into warranty, then replacement died a month after warranty expired.

I've used them for decades and it was never this bad.

Both of them the problem was erratic powering on and off, I assume some issue with the power button (maybe water ingress?).

I almost ordered until I saw it's not the protective clean. This is the USB chargeable Model

I believe this is a weaker model than protective clean

The Newer models have been a huge downgrade!

It literally says ProtectiveClean in the title. Phillips doesn't include wall chargers anymore, only USB
No it looks like it is not protective clean.

I would recommend an Oral B instead. Switched my 4 person household and it's a huge difference.
Hate my Oral B, purchased this to replace.

I switched from Oral B to Philips 3 years ago. No issue so far. I did get the more expensive model sold at Costco.

Same here, but to the older version of 4100 (with the non-USB wall plug), which I bought about a year ago. No issues.

I have the opposite experience switching from Oral-B Pulsonic to Philips ProtectiveClean 4100 (older model) - huge difference, indeed.
