1. You don't do Machine Learning
2. If don't care much about Ray Tracing.
Because 7900XT has much more raw power and has more VRAM and work flawlessly in Linux as well

4070 ti has the edge with ray tracing and frame generation in some games.
But the sad reality is none of this generation is worth it compared to the last generation when it comes to price/performance nor generation performance improvements except the rtx 4090.
also i thought Newegg is the no return policy or if opened there's restocking fee? I've never heard of them offer price adjustment in the last few years.
And I just got a price adjustment on a PSU that went $30 lower via new coupon code a couple of weeks after I had bought it. Chat support refunded me the $30 and associated sales tax. (They essentially let me apply the coupon code retroactively, as I was still within the return period. If you think about it, it's cheaper for them to do that than to have me return it and buy a new one.)
