The negative reviews on Amazon talk about leaking seams, but still liking the pool. Might want to take the time to reinforce those seams before filling up the pool. Could save you a lot of water and the headache of draining the pool after getting it mostly full and finding a leak...

They make patches that you can apply under water. Not sure how much they'd run if you needed to patch ALL the seams. Source: grew up with an above-ground vinyl pool.
Generally the patches you get with it are swatches of the material that come with the pool. You might be able to find a similar pool cheap/free on your craigslist and cut it up and use a lot of patching glue, or even marine grade silicone (or just the silicone on it's own) to reinforce the seams.

Made the purchase. This is going to be large and the reviews look promising. It ended up costing close to 600 after tax plus 50 in shipping.
I had this pool unti I moved it's awesome

Mine didn't come with a ladder.
And I bought / upgraded the filter

Took like 6hrs to put up.

Good luck!

I would if I had the space right now. Will need to do a lot more backyard clearing.

Buy it with a credit card that extends the warranty so you'll at least have 2 years. I have not had good experience with the bs Allstate extended plans they've sold.

If you look at the pics, the families got in without a ladder. They've got hops!

Okay, in for one. Considering I have a foot and a half of snow in the backyard right now, I guess I've got plenty of time to plan out the prep. Thanks OP!

Note: I did buy the Allstate $79 warranty. I've used it twice on other products from Walmart and it was easy-peasy to get a refund.

I owned the Intex version of this one back in central Florida. They didn't powder coat the inside of the frames so they eventually rusted out from the inside after 2yrs. So hose down everything metal with anti corrosion spray. I Upgraded mine to a salt water system and a high end sand pump that I found at the local thrift store. Also replaced all the fittings with PVC and an added a skimmer. Homedepot sells the cheapest/best filter sand.

Bottom line…upgrade the pump and ladder. And be ready for splash out on all four corners. But this is an awesome deal. Mine was $800. Also great for water volleyball.

Is this a semi-permanent thing once put together, or could it be disassembled after every summer season? And how many seasons can it realistically last? I am in eastern Washington.

The filters/pumps included with these above ground pools are never sufficient. You will 100% want to upgrade to at least a 12 inch or larger sand filter pump.

Can anyone confirm? Don't have WM+ but with the $50 back offer + saving $50 on shipping the membership would be essentially free for me.
