The negative reviews on Amazon talk about leaking seams, but still liking the pool. Might want to take the time to reinforce those seams before filling up the pool. Could save you a lot of water and the headache of draining the pool after getting it mostly full and finding a leak...

Yes, it's free with Walmart+, I just confirmed with my account.
When I bought it with walmart+ it still showed shipping all the way to completion. I canceled the order. Waiting fir clarification from Walmart, because it does say free shipping on the pool window when clicking on it.

Is this a semi-permanent thing once put together, or could it be disassembled after every summer season? And how many seasons can it realistically last? I am in eastern Washington.

I had a smaller Intex one. Bottom rotted out after 3 seasons or so, but I didn't "baby" the thing taking care of it.

Okay, in for one. Considering I have a foot and a half of snow in the backyard right now, I guess I've got plenty of time to plan out the prep. Thanks OP!

Note: I did buy the Allstate $79 warranty. I've used it twice on other products from Walmart and it was easy-peasy to get a refund.
Did they give you a full refund on other items or how does that work? Send a replacement?

These pools are awesome but A LOT OF WORK. I would suggest you look into and have a plan for leveling the ground that you are going to be attempting to put the pool on. I used sand for a base as I was lucky enough to have a good bit near me that someone moved into my yard. I did however have to spread it which was not fun.

The pumps are usually garbage, unless they come with a sand filter in the box and should be replaced unless you want to be babysitting this thing at least every other day and struggling to keep the chemical levels consistent.

The ladders are generally terrible as well and will rust. The one I have started rusting before we even got out of summer of the first year 😜

They make skimmers for these types of pools and I will say YOU SHOULD BUY IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Just make sure you plan correctly. It all seems like drag and drop until you really look into making it a decent pool and you need six different things (pump, skimmer, sand or tile base, pool vacuums because a tree drops leaves into it EVERY DAY) just to make sure you're happy with the finished product.

Which pump did you get?
You should get Intex one with sand.

Refunds only (full price), which was okay though the two items I used the warranty on had been bought on sale (I would have repurchased both items at the sale price, but no luck). Pretty painless process to get the warranty refund though.

Has anyone that recently ordered this have an issue where it won't let you buy the protection plan? That's a huge red flag

Agree with previous poster that at this size it is too unmanageable. The filter that it comes with can not keep up with this volume of water. It is very difficult to put the cover on and take it off. In sunny climates all the plastic melts onto the metal rods and after one TX summer I could no longer take it apart. This might be helped by spraying all the pieces before assembly. But despite it being dragged around my back yard this thing held up pretty well. Eventually I gave up because the filter started leaking.

I had the Intex Ultra XTR version of this. https://intexcorp.com/ultraxtr/
My mom is a senior and I ended up getting steps for it and they cost more than the pool.

You can also buy aluminum decking which I would have done in retrospect but in the end it was something I decided to sell as I ended up moving.

I'm in NorCal but if you live in a place you'd want to take this down seasonally a friend recommended getting those large Xmas tree bags - one for the pool and one for the frame, etc. Make sure the parts are as dry and you can before you put it away. You can just let it drain but a sump pump is your friend. Thankfully for us mold was not an issue.

Another tip is getting a nice big bubble wrap cover for this as it really helps keep the heat in and put the cheap one on top of that to help protect from bird poop, dust, etc.

I would buy if the protection plan was available. It seems this wicker pattern is flawed. I'm seeing terrible reviews and low prices on pools with this pattern

I called and they said once the pool arrives you can go to CS at a store and purchase the plan. Just have your receipt with you.
