Looks like this is restricted to Microsoft apps. Can't use Zoom or Google Meet.

From Lenovo: [lenovo.com]

*ThinkSmart View is not intended to be a smart home device; it is designed for business use, is intended to be managed and updated by an enterprise's IT department, and requires a commercial license from Microsoft.

One of the reviews claims to have rooted it and used as Smart Home controller

"Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2023
Bought four to use with Home Assistant and Fully Kiosk. With that said you have to flash new firmware on it, root it, install some apks. So much better solution then dealing with tablets and smart plugs so you don't swell up the battery."

Amazon has it for $5 more but price has gone down to low $20s recently there too if you want to wait. Seems like they're getting rid of old stock

If your organization uses some sort of management suite for managing their IT assets, this device may not work. For example, I would need to enroll my personal device first in order to access my company's resources like Office 365, Teams, and Outlook. So my IT would have an ability to erase my iPhone remotely. My IT department currently prohibits us from logging into our O365 accounts from Firefox on our company laptops for example. So I'm assuming trying to login to Teams from this Android device could be an issue.

Interesting. I was looking for something for Fully Kiosk (or something similar) to create a single use device for my kids to use SORA for audiobooks without access to the rest of the Net.
I wish companies would patch EOL devices to be unlocked / rooted to avoid ewaste. So many alternate use cases out there for single use stuff like this if the tinkering community can get their hands on it.
Heck, even if you could get this to be a single use secuirty cam screen or digital photo frame... but instead ewaste.

Pretty sure Lenovo has quit supporting these already. You'd probably get by for a year or to using these a picture frame.
