Looks like this deal requires you to port-in a number, making it worse than the recent Straight Talk deal for the same phone.

Also, if you're looking for one of these, you may want to check OfferUp, Craigslist, Facebook, etc to see if anyone is selling new unlocked ones for cheap. Two months ago, people were buying them for $49 + $35 plan and many seemed to be buying for resale once they unlocked since they were dirt cheap for several weeks. Those have started to unlock now, so I've seen quite a few on the marketplaces lately. Some are still sealed and some are open box but still with the factory plastic screen protector in place, as a lot of resellers never even used them. You may be able to get a new one that's already unlocked for a good deal, as a lot of people probably loaded up on them at $84 total for the phone and plan.

If you have an existing Tracfone account and service, can you activate the SIM card inside the phone as a replacement SIM to fulfill the "SIM inside phone must be activated" requirement for the 60 day clock to start?

The current deal shows phone dimensions of 5.45"x2.65".

What am I missing here?

They're both deals for Apple's iPhone SE 2022. It's the exact same model and the size doesn't vary. However, the people in charge of filling out things like dimensions on a lot of these pages don't pay great attention. You might have outer frame dimensions, screen dimensions, box dimensions or just random numbers sometimes, depending on how lazy they are. Smilie

1. Change price to 150 its not 99
2. I bought on black firday for 50device +40plan so 90 total through walmarts straighttalk(which is in middle of merging with total by verizon)
3. I think this a iffy deal because verizon is known worldwide for scummy buisniess practices around EVERY corner
4. SAY THAT PORT IN REQUIRED PLEASE. so much confusion, u must bring your own number.
But I think its still a OK deal. Just a lot is not certain where everything with the BF deal was set in stone.

one of the crazy things with BF deal was the phone was bought for 90 total and you could trade in to apple for 165 xD
