Just ignore the verbage. Promotion is good for both new lines and upgrades.

I am buying the phone outright, and they think I would give them my social and DOB? 🤣😂 That is like an engraved invitation to identity theft! 🙄

I have a samsung z fold 4 I'd like to trade in. There is some weird glitch in the screen where a line of pixels are constantly lit up. But there's no cracks and no liquid damage. Will they accept this phone for the full trade in value?

You're here on sd. You actually paid full retail price for a phone?

I hope so too, it would be really low for spectrum to not give the $700 and force the customer to add a new line

They don't refund tax even after trade in is accepted
As long as they refund the trade-in value to CC, Why does that matter?

I see. I got my fold 4, earbuds, galaxy watch for $900 from Samsung. I think I traded in a s21 or s22.

I have an existing line with spectrum mobile. The trade in value of my s23 is even higher than the price of s24 plus tax! Does that mean I'd earn cash by upgrading my line? That sounds too good to be true.

No worry. I got s23, s23+, S23u, Flip 5, Fold 5, pixel 8 pro from them. All have same wording.

If i wanted to do the trade in, unlock and then cancel service, how much would it cost total?

Here's my math:
Samsung Galaxy S24
$859.00
-$60 by the gig promo

$14/month by the gig plan x ~3 months to be safe and then cancel after unlock = $42
$20 activation fee
-$716 trade in
= $136 total

This seems too good to be true no?
You only need to have active service for 1 month.

If I get the phone, pay remaining on phone, can I cancel line immediately? Or need to be on spectrum for x months?

Just couldnt figure correctly how much net this would come. I have a phone to trade and a friend got spectrum internet.

Can you trade-in in-store rather than sending it - just to avoid things getting lost via fedex/ups/usps ? Also would it make any difference in the whole process like getting the credit quick or so ?

Unsure if this was already answered but is there a way to get this deal for a non spectrum mobile/internet customer? I tried on the website and it asks if I am a spectrum Internet customer when I click 'no and get Internet' it says my address is not covered. I am in the NJ city area and I do have Xfinity home Internet.
