Upgrade the line. Dont activate the new phone yet. Wait till previous phone unlocked. Then activate new phone.

Really hope the vast majority of those with S23(U)s arent biting and give Samsung some incentive to do aggressive price cuts again like they had to for the S23 series come summer - for those looking to still get the 24 series and also to hopefully put some additional pressure on them to come up with something truly different for the S25 series (which is already rumored anyway). Samsung isn't alone in milking incremental updates to death, but it feels in general we are a bit overdue for something truly new again after the S21-S24 series.

I upgrade way too often admittedly but even then feel zero incentive to give up my S23U. I just hope Samsung won't artificially nerf this phone to name the S24s seem more of an upgrade than they are. I e you can't convince me the S23 can't perform the same AI tricks with a software update. Some already exist in some fashion since UI5 and 6.

Lol keep phone without activation. Why waste money if you want an expensive brick? You won't get it unlocked if you don't activate it.

No option to trade in devices made by Oneplus. I'd be interested but not without the deal.

I m asking is it not necessary to immediately activate phone? As my 61 days end in feb 27...so from delivery say 1st Feb to 27 Feb If I don't activate phone then will it not impact 700off offer

I have received a message in an email that PreOrder and trade-in are also available in the store and also confirmed with a local store.

When you do the local store trade-in it will be instant credit towards your phone purchase.

Screen shot of the email attached
Did you place the order in-store? How did that go?

There is just very little new in phones any longer. I honestly believe the Flip/Fold is the next great thing if they can iron it out. Mostly the Fold because I want it easier to fit in my pocket. But I'm only upgrading because I'm running an S20U and figure there should be some camera upgrades after skipping three gens.

I really don't see reason to upgrade S23U to S24U, granted brighter display, new processor and may be better telephoto with 10MP, apart from that don't see much value upgrading. Also all AI features should come to S23U when OneUI updated to next version.

I have tried entering info for trade-in on Spectrums site and any phone I have comes back as not eligible. S21 Ultra, iPhone 8, iPhone 6. Is the trade-in site working for anyone?
Switch to incognito. Happened to me after trying to add a second phone to the order.

How can you get 4 phones in one account? There's no limit?
I am hoping I can do 2 instore once they available. I see a limit of 2 preorders but when I tried the 3rd, it said I should be able to do more once the phone is available (I think)
