I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.

Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

Trade in: Iphone 6 Plus = $705
Buy: Galaxy 24 Ultra = $1300
Sign up for new Spectrum Internet:
Spectrum Internet Ultra: $45 - $5 (autopay discount) + $30 (one time service activation fee) + $2 (tax) = $72

$40 * 2 = $80 (second and third months)

$72 (first month) + $80 (second and third months) = $152

$1300 - $705 = $595 + $152 = $747 is this the total cost to get the new galaxy 24 ultra????

Once Assurant confirms the tradein, the value will go into your account, as credit. You can chat with them to put the amount on to the form of payment. I did it earlier today.
Would like to know answer to this as well, I have an old iPhone 6plus that's supposed to be on a free spectrum account pending activation. This would be a good upgrade for hubby's cracked S10. Any info is appreciated 🌼

Anyone have this successfully go through (or confirmed via chat) without porting in a number? Got to the final stages of trade in and saw this:

"Promotion requires trade-in of qualifying device, a switch to Spectrum Mobile service plan, porting of current number, new phone purchase, and activation. if new phone is paid in full, credit will applied to purchase. If new phone financed, credit will be applied to bill in pro-rated increments for the duration of the Device Payment Plan. For details go to mobile.spectrum.com/trade-in-terms for full terms and conditions. Restrictions apply. Subject to change."
I saw the same thing and caused me to not complete my order. Has anyone confirmed with a rep that "port-in" is not required to get the extra $700 promotional credit?

so I ended up calling in and the rep confirmed I would get the credit back once the trade in has been received, even with a new number. He did mention that "reps can make sure this thing goes through properly" and reassured me multiple times it was ok, but I guess YMMV

Can I trade in Locked A54 I got from Metro?
Assurant is the trade-in processing company and they don't care whether it is locked or not, IMEI must match though and not black listed.

If I trade in my S23 with Spectrum I get a S24 Ultra for 350 not $750. And if I trade it for a S24 I get paid $155 for trading it in lol.

Sending it now so I see the credit ASAP on my account and then call in to customer service to get the credit back to my original form of payment, possibly even before the new phone is delivered

So as a customer who got the S23 deal last year and is still on Spectrum (I have liked the service personally), I just went through the steps all the way to RIGHT before checkout and it seems like I can do the upgrade on my account without needing new lines or anything else. Just straight up "Give us your S23, we give you an S24 with no other changes on your account and $155 lol". Am I missing something?

Also if you do the monthly payments on the device, then send in your trade in, can you pay off the remainder (thinking about sending in my S10 instead of my s23 so I would owe like $65) and unlock at the 60 days still or are you locked intot he device payments for however long?

May just wait until they are in store because then I avoid the taxes with a direct trade in, but paranoid they will end this deal early for some reason Frown
