I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

There should be an option to select add new line or upgrade existing line.

Wish they did this instore! Store near me saw this and said good luck claiming online trades are never honored!
Yeah I got screwed on the S23U when they never honored the $600 bonus trade in.

No headphone or micro SD. Pass. Guess I'll look for Xperia deals.

yes, all of them. When I checked out it says $29 a month. maybe that is my original line and not a new one, I don't know.
If you have 4 lines with Spectrum already, you don't have to get another line. There's an option for you to upgrade. Upgrade or adding a new line, both will work for this promotion.

Do they accept if a phone screen is half blacked out and half works? Display or screen problem
Best to do the trade-in at the store. They allowed it last year after the phone has been released. It's gonna suck when you find out Assurant reject your trade in when you mailed it out

So if I do this deal when do I get the $700 credit refunded to me? Also it's refunded to original payment and not credit to Spectrum account correct?

Has anyone had luck pre-ordering 2 phones on the SAME line? Curious if I'll run into any issues with the trade in promotion & unlocking.

Does it make sense to sign up for Spectrum for $50 a month for 2-3 months with free mobile plan to wait for unlock, purchase the phone with monthly payments, trade in the phone to get credits applied to the account, and then cancel the service and pay off the remaining balance?

I'd say no. Too many hoops to jump through.

Same account and same phone line. I already placed order #1 on the phone line. I was wondering if I could place another pre-order with the same exact line.

but don't you need to wait until phone is released to go to the store and place the order? also might be a case where the $700 promo for trade in might be done by then right?

Not sure it could even be done, but no way I would risk the trade-in money and unlocking, it would be a giant can of worms.
This is how people complain that Spectrum screwed them and post in every Spectrum thread what a horrible company they are...(while leaving the details out).

you can try and report result.

you're buying a 1k$ phone. Just spend an extra $14 for a new line.
