I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.

Welp, just did it. Bought the $40 moto g at local Walmart and did the trade in with it valued at $711 towards a s24+. I chose a new number with spectrum and the gig plan. I plan to leave the new phone alone for 60ish days until it can be unlocked, replace my s22 on Verizon with the new phone and sell the s22 online. Should break even or make a little on this deal. Hopefully the credit back to my card happens!

I already have spectrum internet (500mb plan), is there any additional benefit like free line if I upgrade to 1gb internet plan? I plan to close this mobile line after 120 days. So upgrading to a 1gb internet plan would make sense if I am getting a mobile line free.

They say credit to payment method but that doesn't seem to be true. They'll put it as a credit on your account. A call/chat with them will get it refunded to payment method. Takes an extra step but worth getting money out of spectrum account.

You should already have a free line now though? If you don't, chat with them because they are offering one free mobile line with 300 mbps plan for $50.

Not sure but I've heard 10 lines max. I had 5 lines before I cancelled 4 and kept the 1 free line after unlocking all 5 pixel.

Asking this again....

I wanted to trade in store but I would be out of town from 1/31 for some time. I know for a fact that in KY the tax is only on the difference.

Does anyone how it works in TX?
