I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

S24+ is 6.7"
S24u is 6.8" with spen

S24+ is a better deal if you dont need spen and ok with .1" diff. and save u $300
It's the 5x zoom for me. Same reason why I have p8 pro.
s24+ is 3x and 24u 3x and 5x.

But I'm also cheap so went for s24 and crap trade-in phone.

sorry, is that share the gig plan? so still $14.99 or $19.99 plan, but can be shared by multiple numbers? never tried that
It's the Unlimited Data plan. $30 each line, but the current promotion is 1 line is free. So 2 for $30. And then an extra $30 for the 3rd line on the plan.

I have two lines with Spectrum. If I purchase more than two phones, can I satisfy the 60 Day unlock policy by activating a phone on one line and then replacing that phone on the same line, and then after 60 days pass putting the phone back on that line and asking Spectrum to unlock it? Not sure if a purchased phone needs to be active on a line continuously for 60 days?

Traded in a junk drawer phone ($705) and after a few Amex offers ($80) I'll be out of pocket less than $100 for my S24. "Upgraded" a completely free unlimited line so no monthly payment, no activation fee.

You don't factory reset your phone?
If you do, it goes to the setup screen first. So you can't do *#06#
I go through the whole setup for brand new phone just to make sure things are working. Then take pictures. Do another factory reset when done.

The phone is definitely locked to spectrum. My other sim cards did not work. I did place my current active spectrum SIM card into the S24 without issues.

I placed S24 Ultra with trade-in Pixel 8. Then, I shipped my trade-in, which is in transit now. Later, my S24 U order got canceled after 5 days by Spectrum. When I checked with one of Spectrum Rep through chat, they said it happened automatically by their system and asked me to place a new order without a trade-in as I have already shipped my device. At that point, she said existing trade-in can get tagged with new order. And then I placed new order.
Later with doubts in mind, I again reached out to Spectrum Rep over the phone, and now they're saying that they're not aware of how would Assurant handle this situation and asked me to reach out to them. She gave a number to Assurant 1877-875-4282 through which I couldn't connect Assurant Support.
Did anyone come through a similar situation? Please advise

3 lines on same plan.
Did you receive your phones and activate the ones you ordered first before placing the second orders? Or are all of them preorders?

I'm pretty sure Spectrum never sold their phones unlocked. Last year with S23 deals, we could get it unlocked ASAP instead of the 60 days wait but it was still locked out of the box.

They learned their lesson from last year. They will never unlock it until the days are passed now.

So, the s24 ultra will be delivered today between 9am - 1pm. What happens if, for any reason, the phone I sent gets rejected? Should I wait and not open the phone to return it in case that happens?

let us know if gets delivered!
