I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

Do you have both phones attached to the same line? I am trying to figure out how does esim going to work. Did it get transferred to the 2nd phone when you activated it, and that left the 1st phone activated but with no running esim or sim?
You don't have to use esim if you already have a physical sim card.

Same here, I've sent in two trade in since the 22nd, both shipments is stuck in the TX processing center for the last couple of days without any movement aside from "in transit to next facility ". It already passed the scheduled delivery date, should I call usps and see what's going on?
The trade ins are supposed to get to them before February 17th, or at least that's what ny orders say, so it should be fine, I guess. You lose nothing by calling them or asking in person like I did when I sent my third trade-in. The counter person gave me the info.

That's good to know. I am getting two S24 in different colors. Do you know if I can switch sim or esim between them within the 60 lock period? I am going to receive the 1st phone today, 2nd phone later. So I'd like to use the first, is there going to a problem to switch esim back after activate the 2nd phone?

The first phone, S24 Ultra, is my main phone, so I transferred my number and used the same SIM I had on the S23 Ultra. The second and third are new numbers, and I assume they'll be eSIMs, but I haven't activated them yet. I may wait for the other S24 to arrive to activate both at the same time and have the same billing cycles.

That sounds like a reasonable move. I might do the same if there is no other DP. Thanks.

At what point do we call to get the trade in credit applied to the payment method? Is it after we send in the trade in and it's approved? Or is it just after we get the label to send it in the trade in?

You log in to your spectrum account and it will eventually show the credit, then you can call.. can take up 2 billing cycles

They're factory unlocked. Just pop in your sim card from any carrier and you're good to go. You can cancel service as soon as you get your phone
I don't believe that's correct. I believe there's a 60 day service minimum. The phone will be locked, and you call spectrum to unlock it once two conditions are met: the device is completely paid for, and it's been 61 days since you activated the phone on your account.

Watched the map as the delivery truck went through my neighborhood, then left the area at which point the live update map disappeared. It still shows delivery by 8:00 tonight but the window keeps moving back, the map is still gone and I have left for work. Congrats to everyone who has received a delivery so far!

Apparently they came back without updating the tracking. Shoutout to my landlord for grabbing my delivery!

This deal is at Spectrum mobile and applies both for Galaxy S24 Ultra and S24+. Both new and existing Spectrum customers can avail this.

I traded in a S10 phone and got a 747$ as a promotional price offer (700$ + 37$ for the phone). If you buy outright, the promotions price will be immediately applied and the phone will come unlocked and no contract (per the rep).

I've heard the reps say the same thing in the past, but I did read that officially it's 60 days service minimum. I guess it's a bit of YMMV , but to be safe assume that you're going to be locked to spectrum for at least 60 days, and then you can do whatever you want after that.
