I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

Locked to network = OK, locked with Google account or any other accounts = NOT ok, payments still due = NOT ok, device credits are still in affect = OK as long as you don't drop the plan/carrier but that will be between customer and phone company, there are some exceptions depending on how carrier marks device in the system but if it specifically says "financial responsibility has not been met" or something along those lines there's big chance it will get rejected.
I bought straight talk device from Walmart without any plan. I just started the phone. With this will my device be eligible for trade in?

Probably not, missed the best deal. I'm fuming right now.

Any chance they will be in stock before mid night?

And worst case, if we buy one from store tomorrow, is the 700$ trade in value still valid?
I understand that the double storage promo ends today.

The extra Gb promo is over but the enhanced 700 trade in is still available in store till end of feb . So anyone who missed can still order from store after pre order shipments are fulfilled .

Stop spreading fake news. The rep was talking about icloud lock and google lock.

Locked carrier phones are ok and good to go hence they specifically state while adding which carrier . Issue is if you send the phone with locked google, icloud , find my phone and screen locks is when trade in gets rejected. I have traded cricket locked phone last 2 times with full trade in accepted .

Yes, as long as device was paid in full and not on monthly payments payout.

I just had a chat with Spectrum mobile sales, they are saying that network locked phones can not be traded-in. The trade-in would get denied if sent. I checked with two different sales people

Does FedEx leave notice on the door for customer not home for signature?
My package was estimated to be delivered 9-11am yesterday. I waited till 4pm then had to go out. FedEx updated at 4:20pm as package delayed due to 'customer not available or business closed'. No notice on my door. I don't know if FedEx came or not.

Fake news. I've traded in network locked phones with no problems. The chat reps are clueless and only reading a script.

Chat again and if they repeat the same answer then send them emoji of the middle finger to them for being uninformed.

And is it FedEx Ground truck or FedEx Express van that delivers Spectrum package? It's FedEx overnight so I believe it's delivered by FedEx Express van. Just want to confirm.

Credit to account or refund to credit card used?
once it's approved, you can call them to add back credit to the original credit card only when paid in FULL. I have used the same last time and it worked fine.
