I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

The extra Gb promo is over but the enhanced 700 trade in is still available in store till end of feb . So anyone who missed can still order from store after pre order shipments are fulfilled .
Yeah but the deal is significantly less "slick" without the free memory upgrade. 256 GB to 512 GB is a huge leap but it's ridiculous how they want an additional $120 just to upgrade the memory now that the promo is over.

Does anybody know what they are doing with all those crappy phones they get as trade-in?
They eat the cost and hope to squeeze money out of you with internet/mobile service plans.

once it's approved, you can call them to add back credit to the original credit card only when paid in FULL. I have used the same last time and it worked fine.
Does the extra tax you paid get refunded too?

No they never prorate the tax and it is only the total trade amount email you received. 700 promo + phone value.

I am posting what the customer rep told me.
Nowhere in their terms for trade ins does it say that device has to be network unlocked.
Their main qualification criteria is as follows:
If you purchased your device from Spectrum Mobile, it must be paid in full.
It's in working condition and turns on. Please note you may still qualify for an offer if you have a cracked screen or other minor damage.
There is no liquid damage. If the liquid contact sensor is activated, the device shows signs of oxidation or liquid or moisture are visible through the screen, it won't be accepted.
The Find My app has been disabled on your iPhone.
The device has been restored to factory settings.

I can't believe we live in a world where people still think customer service agents have a clue about anything.

I just had a chat with Spectrum mobile sales, they are saying that network locked phones can not be traded-in. The trade-in would get denied if sent. I checked with two different sales people
Stop spreading false !! It's not true!! All of my phones that I traded in were locked
We all know you chatted with yourself and came up with your own answer

Thank you! I will try it that way.
Well, I got notification my devices were shipping yesterday and ONLY yesterday did I notice the rep ordered me a YELLOW S24U instead of the BLACK I asked for and originally placed. I was advised yesterday I could file an exchange today upon receiving my yellow phone but when I called they said Black was OOS and even though gray showed as Backordered, it couldn't be ordered either. So I'm SOL until one of those is in stock again before 14 days are up apparently.

The rep had no idea when they'd be in stock. At least their website said 2/9 as estimated availability for the Gray model.

I need to do an exchange to ensure I get double the memory and the trade-in goes smoothly. I looked into just returning my device but that will take days to clear my trade-in IMEI and even if I place a new order for the color I want, I wouldn't get the double memory for free. Maybe they'd have mercy on me and credit that manually?

Ugh. Very frustrated. I should have just ordered them myself and confirmed billing later.

Use common sense. This promotion is trying to steal customers from another providers. Let's say you're using at&t. Your current phone is most likely locked to at&t. You think Spectrum is easier to take your current locked phone or make you go buy an unlocked phone to trade-in?
