I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

Went to a store because of questionable condition of my phone and now I have to still ship it to Assurant for final inspection. WTF? No advantage to in-store and I missed out on double storage deal. Assurant rejected my new Moto G last year so bad luck continues.

mine did the same the final approval credit email came 3 biz days after the promised assessment date of 1/27. So you should expect it by Monday. But all this backlog may be delaying that.
I hope so, it was 1/28 and changed to 1/30.

What was the rejection reason last time? Was it anti theft as this time?

were you able to work with Spectrum/Assurant to send another phone as trade in and resolve the case?

I have been patient for almost 14 days, that is the issue I am almost at the return cut off. I told myself that I would not be concerned until almost at the 14 day mark and here I am. My package has just been sitting at Coppell Distribution Center for days, longer than some other people who have been posting that their package is delivered. I would not have done this deal if I had known that USPS would not deliver the package this many days beyond the delivery range and just let it sit there not marked as delivered at the destination. Obviously I have zero interest at all in this device without the trade in credit.
The trade in process usually takes 3-4 weeks on average. Some are lucky and gets it done in 2 weeks. I really think you shouldn't have done online trade in if you are this concerned about the return date and instead should have done it in store like what lou2004 said.

Other than that, my USPS tracking still doesn't say it's delivered, but still got one of the credit today. You might be in a similar situation where they already have it but USPS hasn't updated anything.

Store is YMMV. Try another store if there's one nearby.

No never got it resolved and lost the $600 bonus. Not a lock issue, said the model didn't match which was a bunch of b.s.

Why didn't you return it in-store, where you might only incur a $50 restocking fee?

The 14 days should be from delivered date. Not the order date.
Policy appears to be 14 days to return starting from order date plus 10 days from return initiation date for Spectrum to receive the device.

I bought 2 Moto G Play phones from walmart.com for trade-in and haven't activated them with a straighttalk plan. I haven't shipped the devices yet. Will activating the phone with a cheapest plan make any difference with the anti-theft issue people are reporting?

I received S24 phones from Spectrum and activated them. Can I trade-in the Moto G Play phones in-store?

If I trade in a $40 moto g in store, will that likely work? Sounds like the people getting moto gs denied are the ones that were shipped in correct?

I think I know why those phones from Walmart are denied. Walmart didnt properly scan the phones during sale or shipping. No one can activate them if they are not scanned. Many pixel 6a deal thread had issues for this reason.

I recently received an email stating my Walmart Moto G Play trade-in was declined due to anti-theft concerns. I've checked the phone was factory reset, and I have a video documenting the packaging and reset process if that's helpful. Is there any way to appeal this decision?
Did you take out the SIM card ? I actually don't know if it does come with a sim inside so I am asking. Last year when doing S23 deal, I also got some Motorola phone from Walmart and it had a sim inside it and while trading it in store, CSR removed the sim before completing the trade in.
