Assurant website shows my trade in was received on 1/29 and should be assessed by 2/2. It's been 2 weeks since they received it and still hasn't been assessed. what happens if they don't process my trade in? is there some way to get the credit since they messed up?

I already got the trade in credit for my other trade ins, which was received on a later dater date even.

If you keep replacing device on the same line how are you going to unlock the phones? My understanding is they have to remain active on the line for 60 days. They use to be willing to unlock immediately when paid in full but now seem to be requiring the 60 days.
How did the rep in store allow you to use the same line for buyin another S24. Wont it raise flags? am contemplating on buying 2nd phone on same line. Anyone had success with unlock of phone not on a line?

As previously mentioned by others. I was able to add my debit card to my account. Requested a refund by chat. Instantly got the notification from my bank of the refund.
Has it been credited yet. Shows pending for me since last 3 days.

It's pending in my bank account right now. Are you asking about spectrum or my debit card?

Some people have said that they have been banned from being able to do trade ins in store because they did it too many times. I'm not sure how this prevents them from doing anything if they can still just do it online. The way to reduce people from doing it would be to limit to one device upgrade per line per 12 months and requiring 12 months of service to qualify for the promo. If they let people get as many $700 promos as they want then obviously there will be people who take advantage of it one way or another.

The unlock policy has been changed at some point over the past year, so I do not think there are many data points yet in terms of people who have taken off the device from their line before the end of the 60 days this year. It appears customer service is telling people that they will not unlock if your device is has not been active on your plan (i.e. associated with your line) for 60 days, so I would be cautious removing/replacing the device from the line before 60 days if you want to unlock it.

2 more of mine got applied today.. they will process it guys. Unless you phone isn't activateable like the walmart tracfone ones. Just a note.. don't ask them to refund the balance to your original payment method until ALL the phones you've ordered have been processed as it;ll confuse them to see multiple refunds.

If your trade in is worth more than the new device, do you get the full trade in credit back to your CC or do they retain the difference on the account?

Does it apply throughout the day or only in AM (so from following day)? Mine was supposed to be done by the 7th, then the 9th. Still nothing. Return window is up tomorrow and my trade in was pretty beat up so I am nervous.

You will have a negative balance on account if worth more, to which then you have to call CSR to refund the amount back to your card on file.

How I know, I did this during the s23 promo cycle where traded in a s23+ for a s23 and got back the difference

Yes, my last status update was

"Arrived at USPS Regional Facility
COPPELL TX DISTRIBUTION CENTER "

And that was over a week ago. Ever since just says:

"Moving Through Network
In Transit to Next Facility, Arriving Late"

Still does not show as delivered. However, got e-mail from Assurant on Tuesday with the approval and credit appeared on Spectrum account yesterday. USPS still does not show as being delivered.
Well, looks like it finally got to Texas. Only took 4 days for them to scan it, then a bunch of updates (see below).

I'm assuming it's at the end of the road, since it says "available for pickup"

A few people have reported that their preorders were inexplicably cancelled. But I think there are also people waiting for their devices to ship out too due to backorder. Is the device you are waiting for showing as in stock on the Spectrum website?
It was s24 grey and the 256GB is not available on their website.

Same boat. I assume your is the grey S24 as well. Currently all other 256 GB is in backorder besides the grey color which means we might have a longer wait time. Since I upgraded my line and they already accepted my trade in, I got no choice but wait. Lol
Yea, it was S24 Grey. Ok, so I have to prepare myself for a longer wait time.

Interesting, I wonder if grey was the most popular preorder color since it is the only one no longer showing up on the website in 256gb. That is the one I ordered. It is probably appealing to guys who want to try a color other than black. With the S24 they had green, but this year the only other colors are yellow and purple which probably are less likely for a guy to pick. Violet seems to be the only 256gb S24 in stock and the black and yellow show up but as back order.
