You could still use it for them, and they would go on and off easier. Just don't exceed the weight limit.

I am using this exact rack with Olympic plates, there are 320 lbs on it right now and it is rock solid, it could easily take a bunch more plates. I kept it when switching from standard to Olympic plates. I've had it since August 2020, and it is in excellent condition.

Not the kind you would use with a full-size, Olympic barbell. Olympic plates have a 2" diameter hole. This is for 1" plates like for loadable dumbbells or a small barbell.

Also good if you're in a knighted family and need to hang your helmets. I find that standard coat racks won't do.

I have one, not this exact one but the exact same build with 1". And using it for bumper plates. Mine is fairly nasty and a bit rusty and sits wonky. I figure for $26 bits I'm going to upgrade just for esthetics Smilie. Thanks OP.

Thanks for comments on this. Was going to bite on the 2" one but seems the 1" will work. Can always return if it is just garbage. Really need to get my plates off the ground and $30 is the right price.

I use to have this one. Says 1" but it fits those non bumper Olympic 300lb sets perfectly. There's a specific way of placing them so none of them touches. Look at the reviews, many use them for olympics.

Buper olympic weight trees are more spendy, usually an extra $100. The weight horns are spaced further apart since all the plates are the same size.

Got 1! Thanks OP!
For the longest time, I have a bunch of 1" plates that I use for home workout, stacked on the floor in a corner and it's annoying to handle/change weights when working out. This will be very convenient.

Solid item. I use it for 2" plates and it's fine for that too.
