Anyone have experience buying from this site? I've seen them before on SD.
I bought and returned some LG ear buds, company were fine. Processed my return right away.

It seems safety of the older keypad battery is a concern. So even if you get the replacement V2 from Ring, it might still be worth replacing the older keypad anyway instead of continuing to use it.

That is interesting to know as I have those keypads for over 3 years now and probably have to charge them once every 6 months the or so since app is more convenient.

I already replaced with new ones but in all honesty, not sure what difference it made to my system

Thanks! Maybe now I won't accidentally set off the alarm letting the dog out the back door at night.

Contact sensor is cheaper than Costco 4 pack at $66 ($16.50 each).

Yes it will. I have a Gen 1 system base and most sensors. Had no problem adding this style keypad to my system.

Just so a FYI, the keypad did not come in a retail box. It was in a zip lock bag. Is it new, maybe. Just note that is not buying directly from ring or amazon.

I would wait if it's not urgent

I can second this. I have the 1st gen base alarm with a mix of 1st and 2nd gen sensors and keypads. Setup was straightforward and works without issue.

Side note, I was actually sent a replacement 2nd gen keypad when I had trouble with my 1st gen keypad last year by Ring. I'm assuming they are implying it works together.

I can second this. It almost seems like they had several home security bundles where they broke them apart to be sold individually at a discount. As long as my keypad works without issue, I am fine considering the discount.

It did. I installed the two yesterday. They seem to be new. It's just missing the retail box.
