This game slows down on my pc. Don't get it for switch. It doesn't have the processing/graphical power to run it smoothly.

In all fairness to this version of the game, the Switch version is probably barely running 720p on 'low-medium' settings compared to even a modest PC's settings just so it can keep up. I would not be surprised if they also limited number of enemies at a time and / or distance where objects are drawn to help out frame rates here.

But I do agree with you, World War Z (Aftermath version at least) is unusually hard on a PC verses the age of the game and overall graphics. It was one of the few games my GTX 1060 struggled to play and that oldie but goodie card could handle darn near any game until I replaced it this year.

I'm sure it's not optimized very well. Some developers seem to be really really good at making the most of the system architecture. Some games are just a mess in that they take all the juice and still lags.

But as for a zombie game that looks like butter and is nerfed down graphically, that's not a fair tradeoff to switch gamers. World War Zombies, not trash looking zombie groupies couple at a time.

Just bought it and played it some based on this deal post. It runs pretty well on the Switch. Load times are a little long. Graphics are decent enough in handheld mode. I'm enjoying it. For the price, it's a fun game to have on the go. For playing on my TV, I'd probably get it on PS4/PS5
