I had a pair of similar Sketchers like this that lasted for YEARS, never becoming uncomfortable at all. They ended up being my painting/remodeling the new house and yardwork shoes, and they're still comfortable, just covered with paint and dust and grass stains.
I'm also 50 so I don't give a shit if all my shoes look cool or not.
