Believe this is same machine for $15 less at Newegg:

https://www.newegg.com/lenovo-500...MDGJRN5058

I don't know much about chromebooks so please overlook dumb questions. This interests me as a possible MP3 player to connect (bluetooth) to a sound system in my family room. Doubt that the internal storage is upgradeable but there appears to be a micro sd slot on the left side of the keyboard though it is not mentioned in the specs. I would need around 500 GB to hold my MP3 library. I am hoping that it could also access Amazon music or other streaming services over WiFi and have enough processing power to xmit the content by bluetooth to the sound system. I see there is an audio out but would prefer to avoid a wired physical connection. Are there functional / suitable MP3 players apps that are included within the chrome OS or can be downloaded? Will this work?

This would be a replacement for an aging Lenovo X131e student notebook which I upgraded from Win7 to Win10, big mistake. The X131e still works but can no longer allow it to attach to the internet. When that happens, it will attempt to update the Win10 OS which then renders it useless (Lenovo quit updating/supporting some of the required drivers for Win10). After installing the update, the laptop hangs at boot, thus requiring a reload of the backup. I've tried disabling the auto update feature but have not been successful, either Lenovo utilities or MS overrides.

Good find! You should be able to find NAS software, and there are a variety of remote apps that will control a media player from another location/device if you are using it that way.

On Dailysteals, it is stated to be certified refurbished by Lenovo while on Newegg (sell by 3rd party) it is just 'refurbished' and without any warranty information. Can still be the same thing but needs verify.

$63 or better, condition good on Ebay. Battery should be at 100% when you buy used.
