Interesting screen, although it's only 60hz.
"Full-size" keyboard, with no number pad? External USB and BT add-ons are cheap, but I must have one and would prefer not to have to add it myself.
Big battery.
Not the most current spec-wise, but not a bad looking laptop for the price.

Still very overpriced. Not a gaming unit. Screen isn't everything!

I wish I had MC near me. Other laptops in a similar price range may have better CPUs but only 1200p screens on 16 inches. This screen is perfect for my needs.

HP Spectre Laptops are generally regarded as pretty premium laptops, and for a more recent H-series laptop with an i7, the price is not bad at all.

Gaming isn't everything either, dude. No need to threadcrap, this clearly isn't a gaming laptop.

This laptop is far superior to most gaming laptops at just about everything except running high-end games. Massive battery, tiny sturdy all-metal package, ultra hi-res color rich and accurate touch screen, 5 MP camera, the list goes on and on.

This thing literally has 2x the battery of typical laptops in this range.

With that said, no numpad kills it for me, and I have a strong preference for AMD for a large variety of practical reasons (battery life, graphics performance, Linux support, and overall corporate business ethics).

I went to MC to check it out. I had them open the box for i12700 and i13700. The i13700 is $679. Both laptops look brand new. They are refurbished by HP and come with 90 day warranty. They include the pen but not the sleeve. You can add an additional MC warranty for $70+[depends on options). The screen are gorilla glass version and not oled version. 400 nits on the screen.
