I still think the Dji Osmo Action 4 for $299 is a better deal. That camera has no over heating issues. GoPro is a pain I use these on my helmet and many times during summer GoPro just over heated or froze and I had to repeatedly pull the battery out. If you are buying for using an action cam it is a pain.

GoPro fixed the overheating issue with the Hero12. I have 2 Hero12s have haven't had any overheating issues with them as of now.
