Thanks, I saw that too and assumed it would say that no matter the content of the movie itself. Amazon and IMDB (owned by Amazon) doesn't seem to have any rating or content info.

Good riddance. They did themselves in with the ridiculous prices even before cheap 4K TVs.
I'd rather pay $20 to watch a movie and get a $5 popcorn/coke combo then spend $12 for a movie and $15 for same popcorn/coke or anything else at the snack bar that is 5x what it should be.

From Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to this lol, who would even watch this for free? I mean it requires a specific block of time from your life. This is like "hey bro come watch my kids school play its free." Unreal how companies are swimming in so much money they literally have to find ways to flush it like this.

Like you, posting here on SD's about something that you're really not into. There goes that block of time from your life. Bye bye...

Only one theater and one night in the largest county in US and this is sold out. Very lame.

It's less of a miscast I would say (who cares about the skin color of the actress and actors?) but rather IMO it's an issue of both the movie and gaming industry recycling old ideas instead of coming up with new ones. Creativity isn't what it used to be.
Its both, one goes wit the other and so the story doesn't work because it doesn't ring true.

What's funny is that the original had girl-power, but it was counter-balanced by the fact that they made Jolie eye candy for the whole movie.

I can't stand Donald Glover. And the girl is just not that attractive.

Mr. and Mrs Smith is intended for a MALE audience. You need to get the casting right. I know they want to go the whole DEI route. Fine. At least give me John David Washington, and Ana de Armas.

AMC gross profit in 22 was 2.6 billion. Not sure they are going away. It will never be like it was but I expect concerts, esports and even tv releases to be in theaters of the future. You don't need 20 screens and the cost of making movies will go down a lot with ai.

Average production budget went up to 90 million last year vs 37 million in 2018. That's not sustainable either.
So much cringe in this post? AI? LOL. Esports? LOL!!!! Concerts? WUT.

You can literally buy a 75 inch TV for $500 in most stores now. A really good one for $1,500-2,000 if it's OLED.

I used to go to movies dozens of times a year. I don't go anymore. Part of the reason is motion sickness from long COVID and secondly, a huge TV just makes it pointless.

The original movie came out in 1941. To think there would be a minority lead couple at the time is naive. So you're arguing that simply because of past racism a random movie can't be updated to modern sensibilities. Pretty ignorant.
Looks like your modern racism grift didn't work. No affirmations for you. I mean going from Brad Pitt to Donald Glover? Regardless of race, you can't really possibly think this was a legit good casting even

The gaming industry is so horrible. The PS5 generation is the worst I've ever seen. They have ZERO shame. It's all remakes and rehashes now and they think their customers are too dumb to see what's going on. The only shooter you can get is Call of Duty now. They definitely eliminated the competition for the money.

I'm definitely considering selling and walking away from gaming. Maybe someday it will improve.
