I got this about three weeks ago from a certain website that can't be mentioned here. The price was a bit higher than this, but I live in a state with very high sales tax.

In terms of the mount, it isn't that bad if you do some planning. If you want it to be fully flush against the wall you will need an inset box for the power receptacle (I also stuck my Apple TV in there). You also will need to recognize that unlike most TV mounts, this one doesn't have any real room for adjustment side to side. The spacing of your joists will dictate where the TV can be centered unless you tear out the sheetrock and install blocking between the studs. I did it myself in about 3 hours including install of a 14"x14" inset wall box.

I will also add that I own a 77' LG C1, and this TV is phenomenal. Stunning picture. It replaced a 65" Samsung QN90A, and there is no comparison. It's a tremendous improvement.

Good deal for the 65 G3. Unfortunately I'm waiting for the 77.

btw, the seller appears to be beach camera, i.e. same as buydig. So you might as well as call them and will probably get the same discount.

Mannnnn this is tough! I've been wanting this bad to drop below 2K, I'm moving in about 3 months and don't wanna mount this yet, so I'll have to buy the stand separately. But they have used ones one Best Buy for $126. Ughh. Was hoping I'd see this deal after I was settled in to the new place lol.
I have a 77G3 on a $20 pair of legs from Amazon for the last 5 months. Can't wall mount yet. No need to buy the LG stand if it's a temp situation for you. It tilts the tv back noticeably, which many people dislike.

Been waiting for the 65" to drop under 2k again, likely will jump on this. Anyone had any issues with the wall mount that comes in the box? Wondering if I need to buy a different one if I don't currently have one.
Only issue with the mount is if your studs are 24" apart. Mount itself is well made and easy to install.

I use the Sanus TV stand for my LG 77 G3 and it works beautifully. It is built like a brick which provides sturdiness for the TV. No unintentional tilt. I can even swivel it.

Once you go 77, you can't go back to 65. Only to 83.

Wait for a 77" that works within your budget, even if it's a C3. I own both 65" and 77" and the 77" is a much better experience IMO. Nothing wrong with 65, but the 77 is my "go to" TV now, the larger size will impact your viewing experience much more than the MLA or whatever is in the G3. IMO if the TVs are *close* in performance, and about the same price, go for the biggest one you can!

For what it's worth I have a 400 square-foot studio apartment and I went from a 65 to a 77 and even in a small apartment I want an 83 eventually but the 83 didn't have an MLA panel in 2023 they do now in 2024. I would never go back to a 65 inch. If you get a 77 you'll be so happy that you did! If you go from a 55 to a 77 you're going to have to wire your jaw shut😂

I have the 77" G3 and I didn't use the included wall mount since I required a mount that spans 3 studs (stud was centered where the TV would mount). The installers mentioned the included mount is somewhat difficult to use, requires certain placement of wire boxes and only extends a few inches to hang the TV and then pushed flat against the wall. There are specific mounting studs on the back of the TV for that wall mount as well as a standard 400 x 400 vesa pattern.

Not at all. It is vertically adjustable so you can bring the height of the TV to viewing length.

77 by far!! The difference between a 65 and 77 is pretty significant, whereas it ain't that much from a 77 to 83.

Amazing price for the G3.. but, the 77 is so worth it!
