This bundle is $100 less than the 7800X3D combo from the other day. Every review shows that the 7700X is better than the 7800X3D in all applications other than gaming with a high-end gaming card. I wasn't asking for any additional info. I was calling out an ignoramus. You are welcome to join his company.

Depends on the game. FPS and MOBAs, sure, GPUs matter more. Get to RTS, sim, and city building games, CPU performance is going to matter a lot more and the X3D CPUs excel at that.

Different revisions had different wireless solutions. See the link for more details.

Other than that, no appreciable differences between V2 and Rev 1.5 of the original board. VRM design appears to be the same.

Seems like a better deal than the FP Newegg 7800X3D bundle yesterday for those with access to a MicroCenter. I understand that the Ryzen 7 7700X is a better everyday CPU than the 7800X3D (unless you are into high-end gaming).

Enlighten me.
I don't drive a ferarri because I don't have enough money, not because it's too impractical.

Its actually worth noting if you're doing "high-end" gaming ie 4k neither of these cpus matter, Its all GPU at that point and youd get the same performance from a 5600. Its actually the only thing keeping me from upgrading sadly.

What does the V2 signify in this motherboard? Beyond version 2

Because this 7700x bundle comes with: Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX "V2" AMD AM5 ATX

The 7800x3d bundle comes with:
Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX AMD AM5 ATX Motherboard

Case, storage/NVME drive, Power supply, cooler and fans if your case didn't come with any. If you are looking for a gaming PC then you would need a graphics card as well.

You can definitely build a mid tier gaming PC for $1000.

Yes, I was lucky to be able to do the deal when they were offering the MSI Z690-A PRO WiFi. I think I would have moved over to AMD if they only had the current mobo.

No gaming, just want to replace my 10 year old Xeon Z400. I need to run multiple applications and recently my Z400 started giving trouble. I have a few SSDs which I want to move to this box. Not sure if this new Board will fit in my Z400 tower case
