I can't disagree with this. However, out of all Invicta watches, this is a legitimately decent looking watch.
The pro diver with the NH35 might be the best value automatic watch on the market right now. The huge quartz ones are ridiculous but the pro diver is legitimate
Japanese movement.
But yes, this is most likely assembled in China. If it were made in Japan, Switzerland, or even the USA you would be looking at 10x-100x the price even with the same parts.
