The replacement h9g just stopped working today. Power led keeps blinking and restarting. So now I need to replace it since it's a TV that's used a lot.
I also have Hisense l5f120 I think, that I've had since it came out. No issues with it, but it rarely gets used.
I also have a Hisense a45kv in the laundry room. No issues with that, but doesn't get used often.
I have a hisense h6510g that I got maybe in 2020 black Friday I think. Used a lot, still running.
So that's my personal experience with Hisense. I don't expect them to be lifetime tvs. I do have a 32 inch Toshiba LCD from 2007 that's still chugging along in a guest room, so not used a lot. I also have a Vizio 60 inch m series from 2015 that still working, albeit with lowered brightness.

But when I looked at the system info, I see that the it identifies as Android TV OS 11 (current version is 13), which is 3 years old. Also Android TV is deprecated and replaced by Google TV. Additionally, the security patch level is Feb 5, 2023, almost one year old.
Hisense support says all their TV's have the same level OS and no updates are planned.
I'm unsure what, if anything I am missing by having such backlevel software but it wasn't something that I expected with a 2023 model TV, especially one that was manufactured just 3 months ago.

Fyi the 2024 model is due out shortly (U7N) but that won't get near this price point for a while…
I bought an LG C1, one of the best TV you can buy at the time, and it still has issues you mentioned from your Hisense. It's not a "brand" issue. We also purchased the best Samsung money could buy, think $100k Samsung, and it was even worse. We asked if we could get a dumb TV and they said no
I bought an AppleTV and it's much better than any Roku or FireTV streaming device. The streaming quality and UI is simply better. (I hate Apple with bias btw and am not a fanboi)

I went to 3 different bestbuy's to buy it and all 3 were like this. Worst part is, bestbuy display also had the line on all 3 displays. I asked their employees and they said they never noticed it. I noticed it the minute I turned it on.
