There aren't many TVs that have 240 hz refresh rate, mostly computer monitors.

Additionally, HDMI 2.1 can't do 4k@240fps, so it would be a waste anyway. 🤷 You would be limited to 1080p or 1440p at 240hz.

I rather go through Costco for the slight premium and deal with them is something goes wrong. Customer service is solid.

I bought this TV a few weeks ago for just under $2000 from Beach Camera via Walmart. The deal was posted on Slick deals. Not sure the All State warranty is worth $300 given the bathtub curve of electronics failures. This should be cheaper given they're closing out to make room for the C4.

This feels like the normal price I see every time I walk into Costco - why is this posted here? What am I missing?

Do they have tax in PA?
Yes PA has a retail tax but not on food and clothing. DE has no retail sales tax

It's not. It was down to either $2300 or $2500 for the holidays, but when I was in the store the other day it was $2700. It's on sale a lot, but $2300 isn't the normal price.

Why do people spend so much on TVs? Yes, I get the OLED thing. But why? 🧐

I strongly prefer the color reproduction premium TVs offer

Doubt it matters much for the 99% of people streaming media with their massively reduced bitrates but for those who still use high bitrate physical blu-rays premium TVs are easily worth it

Why do you post the same question every OLED thread?

Looks good is the warranty worth it? Is the warranty 5 years under Costco and 3 yr with all state under what's covered?

How reliable is Allstate coverage?
Allstate won't replace it with same specs. I bought a $3K Sony TV that stopped working after 2 years. They tried to give a $1000 TV, which was the same size, but wasn't the same specs. There reasoning was that technology changes fast.

Side note, BB dropped thier open box prices. 77 C3 in excellent condition was $1724. I am heavily debating snagging the one in Christiana DE to save on tax.
I just bought an open box, in excellent condition, from Best buy. The TV was in the box, taped up. After a hour drive home, no remote or power cable. Now, TV was perfect.

So make sure you check to make sure everything is in the box. I never even thought about it until I unboxed it.

this is very sage advice!! to be honest with you before I take it out of the store, I was going to very politely ask an employee to help me pull it out so I can check runtime and to ensure all the parts are there.
