Amazon currently has a good deal on a cordless 80V snow blower with battery from Greenworks. If you already have other Greenworks tools and batteries, their batteries will work with this also. It does come with a small 2.0 Ah battery if you are just starting to get into cordless lawn and garden tools.

I have this model. Paid 269 on amazon from a previous slick deal. Works fine for powdery snow at 3-5 inches. 6+ and you are doing two passes. With wet snow this cant do much. I guess that can be the case with most blowers that are not two stage.
The Best Buy combo is a much better deal. For an extra $100 you're getting 2x4AH batteries vs 1x2AH, and a high power leaf blower. You can't even buy one of the 4AH batteries for $100.
Surprised this work and charged better than Tesla EVs in freezing temperatures.
These batteries will simply not accept a charge at all in low temps. My garage was 20 degrees and the charger just errored out. I brought them inside, warmed them up and took them back out and they charged just fine. They also discharged just fine in the cold too.

I already have a 4Ah and 2Ah battery for my Greenworks mower and weedeater. This deal would get me another 2Ah battery. And I already have a gas backpack leaf blower and a small 18V Ryobi blower. The Best Buy deals was $450 and for me it wasn't worth the extra $150. But for an extra $100, I am thinking about cancelling my Amazon order and buying from Best Buy.

Bestbuy deal is $399 today. I have the Greenworks 18"chainsaw, their leaf blower, 2..0Ah & 4Ah batteries. I added this second leaf blower, snowblower & two additional 4Ah batteries. Even the batteries are upgraded, different from the older models… I think bestbuy deal is a sweeter deal.
I have a Honda gas lawnmower… but for the electric leaf blower the 2 batteries were not enough… now it's complete. Landscaping companies quotes like $3k to manage yard/annually. Built a little compost bin… and do myself. It's good workout too… super nice and saves money.

Yes. I saw the lower price today of $399 (only $100 more then the Amazon deal). So I did cancel the Amazon order and ordered this. Unfortunately, I couldn't order it directly from Best Buy and had to order through Ebay. It said both pick up and shipping wasn't available to my location (TN) on Best Buy site. I had some gift cards I wanted to use. I wasn't aware that the batteries were upgraded. I bought my Greenworks mower and string trimmer in 2021.

The 2 4.0 ah batteries I got don't look like the ones on the picture at bestbuy. They seem like older model that takes 120 minutes to charge vs 40 mins. Maybe this is just isolated case, idk. Also the batteries don't say "Greenworks pro" they just say "Greenworks. I'm wondering if someone bought it and returned it with the older batteries -.-
I thought it was upgrade, but looks like more of a downgrade if they are in fact older gen batteries that take 120 mins to charge.
I had the two batteries on the bottom. The top 2 ones are from the Best buy purchase...

I would definitely talk with Best Buy Custome Service. Both the BB site and the Ebay site show Greenworks Pro batteries and a Greenworks Pro charger. What does your new charger say? I haven't gotten mine yet. I will let you know what I get.

The 4A batteries your received from the bestbuy order are actually the new gen ones. They are smaller and lighter than the previous gen of 4am batteries. I received the same new batteries on the bestbuy order. Agree that they don't look as upscale as the old ones but I am actually happy they are smaller and lighter now.

I have model # bab742 on the batteries. Is this what you have also? On Amazon it doesn't say Greenworks pro also.
I got the batteries listed on the Amazon link above... Charge time for those batteries are 80 minutes. On best buy, it shows "Greenworks pro" written on the batteries, and lists time to charge as 50* minutes.

The charger does say "Greenworks pro." The batteries don't… model # bab742 is on the batteries. I haven't had a chance to look into this further with work. But this weekend, I can test out…

same model # as yours. I suspect the charging time of 120 mins on greenworks website is either an error or using the old standard charger. I charged the new 4A battery using the new rapid charger from 1 bar to 4 bar in maybe 30 to 40 mins.

That's very good news… I'll try it out tomorrow. I'll deplete battery and then charge it.

Storing the batteries inside is key.
