I have terrible vision and have the 77 G3 mounted and sit about 6-7 feet away. Without glasses I can actually see what's going on. First tv I can actually follow things without my glasses, even though I still need them. I don't think it's the resolution as much as the size.

5-year Allstate warranty is $129 only. The seller is Beach Camera. Have never bought from them or something this expensive from Wal-Mart. Is there any reason not to jump on this? Thanks.

I pulled the trigger considering it took 2 years for the G2 to fall somewhat below the 2500 mark. The G3 may go down some more after the G4 release.

It is a good price. I suspect it could drop a couple hundred more at best in a few months. I'm probably going to bite at this price because I'd rather watch it now. But it might make sense to deal with Buydig/beach camera directly. First I'm going to see if any local stores matching this. Apparently the shipping from Beach Camera/Buydig is double boxed and super good. But my concern is that returns are not free in the slim chance something goes wrong. Might be worth the risk at the right price.
