Wow, what are the odds? This was exactly what I was looking for and it's at the top of the Home Deals category. Costco sells a similar product at $60 each. Thanks OP!

Plastic. These won't last. A relative has about eight of these in his garage and they're sagging and cracking.

i actually prefer the plastic ones. yes they may sag over time but i've got a plastic set similar to this one that's lasted well over 10 years... there is some sagging in the center of one of the shelves but that's probably MY FAULT for overloading the shelf

Man I am so disappointed. First off, these shelves are not perfect for many situations but for totes or boxes in damp or unheated/uncooled places, they are great.

I have purchased 5 or 6 brands of them and while some are nicer (cleaner and easier to put together with feet) they all tend to be fine.

But these have horrible reviews. From people receiving only one of the four pack they purchased to breaking and missing parts.

My target price is $40 so if the reviews were better, I would have purchased 2-4 sets of four but I am not purchasing any of these.

These are not the same as Costcos... Look at the Walmart reviews, 3.6/5 is pretty bad.

I have some of these, they are absolute junk. They bend easily and droop over time.

I'm gonna roll the dice. I figure at the very least it'll let me organize my garage now and then when they break or I outgrow their ability to carry the weight I can just replace them one at a time and spread out the cost of the more expensive shelves.

Hopefully at the end the shelves will still be usable and I can use them in a shed or something

These will bow. Don't think about using this in a non climate-controlled environment. The heat will deform it.

I use 2 of these in sheds. Spiders love living below the bottom shelf.

The only thing good about these things is that it is easy to put together and lightweight to move around.

Spend extra and get the steel wire ones.

I have 8 of these overloaded with stuff. They are bent and sagging because of carrying to much weight.
Btw... I've owned them for 9 years and never cracked one

These things will sag after time. Asked grandma, she'll tell you how it is.

Yes, that is exactly what I experienced. I'm in Dallas area and it does get really hot here for a long period of time in the summer. Mine were in the shed but became brittle and cracked, crashing all my stuff straight down. I was lucky at that time. Walmart had the metal on clearance for $30 each. That was about 5 years ago. I would never buy anything plastic ever again. They just won't hold up in this Texas heat.
