Before yall start, I don't want a full blown pc tower. Need something I can pack and take to work 😆
I bought an HP Omen directly from HP back in Black Friday. I described my experience briefly here: https://slickdeals.net/f/17247502-asus-rog-zephyrus-g14-ryzen-9-7940hs-14-qhd-512gb-ssd-rtx-4060-1049-99?p=168864016#
To add something to my experience: while I was discussing on email with the sales rep about possible exchange options, and because they seemed dead on requiring the return first before processing an exchange, I was willing to pay for a new unit, get it, then return the current unit for a refund to minimize my down time without the laptop (call me dramatic as you like but I can't wait 5 weeks), suddenly a Resolution team rep threw me a RMA number, on Friday last week, and required me to take my laptop to Fedex within 5 days, not even business days, and get a receipt from Fedex. Can't even schedule a pick up from Fedex, must bring it to a physical Fedex store within 5 days and get a receipt, LOL.
After some back and forth yesterday, he Resolution rep agreed to give me a new Fedex label whenever I'm available to access Fedex store, emailed him back I can get there this Friday but haven't heard back yet.
Perhaps you were talking with someone from the Tech Support team. They may be nicer than the people from Sales department.

If only a PC manufacturer made quality laptops and had great support... Something like Apple...
I'm debating on pulling the trigger on this guy - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...QO65W

I'm debating on pulling the trigger on this guy - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...QO65W&th=1 [amazon.com], but I am not sure about the company. They seem to be a small group who are gaming-focused, like Alienware before Dell.

But you don't need to run any game at Max settings. The Ultra/Epic tiers are never worth the increase in quality over High.

Also seemed to have some decent Acer and Asus deals but can't tell how good they are since I am new to this.
