I'm not on YT and I don't vlog, but I do go on a lot of hikes and this thing is pretty cool, especially for getting really amazing panoramic shots. It's also great for just an overall walkaround camera for taking footage. To me it's just way more convenient and the instant start record when you turn it on is pretty cool.
I've owned many gadgets over the years as well as mirrorless but nothing beats the convenience of just having this in your your hand and flipping the screen on and starting to record. No fumbling around with my phone and trying to orient it properly. The 1" sensor is noticeable and it's like having a P&S with modern capabilities of shooting in 4K / 60 / 120 as well as other modes.
The negatives would probably be that it's not waterproof so if you're doing water activities you may opt for an action cam and get a housing for it.

I bought a suction cup mount to record some of our drives and even in the heat with the convertible top down it didn't overheat. Snorkeling, hiking etc it was great for all of those.. we ended up with 50 hours of great footage.
Highly recommend this brand.
