I bought mine for $199 last year and I can't say it is worth that. GoPro has never fixed the overheating problem so makes it hard to use in warm environments. It will just shut off on you and you don't find out until you try to review your footage. I have seen no fix on the I terwebs either.

Could try attaching a bigger heatsink to the one that's built into it. I heard that they don't have issues overheating when "in motion" but that can be said about the other gopros as well. I think the regular 11 has the same overheating problem when stationary.
