I'm interested.. but does anyone know if this one can do a regular camera output stream (like for PC viewing on VLC for example)? I have basically the same exact camera as a Kasa model (EC70) and it only supports the buggy Android app.

looks like the answer is yes. https://community.tp-link.com/en/...pic/205220

The C210 adds smart detections and higher resolution and is only $5 more.

You can also get the two-pack and knock a couple bucks off.

Not with the tapo app. But you can connect this camera to a security DVR with a stream function

I have many TPLink switches and I had cameras in the past, but I sold the cameras and switched to eufy ones. If I'm not mistaken TPLink/Tapo cameras require subscription for smart notifications.

You are still notified about events from each camera without a subscription, but they do not include a snapshot of the screen. You need to tap the notification which opens the app to live view.

If you do subscribe, Tapo rates are among the lowest per camera, up to 10 cameras/month.
