You'll never get silver eagles for spot price anywhere. Also, silver eagles have collectors value in addition to metal value. 2020 eagles are retailing for $33/each. JMBullion is offering to buy 2024 silver eagles for $24.27.

Assuming everything goes south nothing beats something you actually have in your possession. It's a hedge against all hell breaking lose. Otherwise yes etf is generally better.

not all etfs have to actually own the silver you're "investing" in, so buyer beware
