I have liked both LG Ultrawide 29's I've had in the past. Still using one as a secondary (above primary) screen. If you have used gaming monitors with 120 + Hertz before, then steer clear of a 75Hz Screen. For office productivity and videos, this is great.

Looks like a good deal, but once you go 1440, it's hard to go back to 1080.

I'm guessing you're referring to the pixel density being too low.
If this is true, then a 24" 1080p widescreen display would be considered beyond "pushing it".

The height of the screen of a 29" ultrawide monitor is less than a 24" widescreen's height measurement. And each monitor would have the same 1080 lines of pixels, so the 29" would have a higher pixel per inch count.

However, I agree Smilie
For my use case of a full work day of monitor use, I would not get this monitor.
At my office I have 24" 1080p monitors, and my eyes feel strained in the afternoon. At my home office I use a 27" 1440p monitor, and I can switch the input over to my personal PC to squeeze in some gaming time after work without feeling any eye issues.

I like 29 inch ultrawide monitors, but I wish they made a premium version with higher PPI.
