The fact that we all use the credit score system after Equifax proves we don't really care about any of that. So you can collectively kick all Americans in the crotch.
SSN was never intended to be used for a credit score system. It was just an ID number and wasn't mandatory. The credit bureau piggybacked the system for credit worthiness and here we are.
Who even decided we wanted those three companies in charge. Our system is a mess.
