Just a FYI - if you have a keyboard with trackpad for your s8+ and are planning to upgrade to s9+ - it does NOT fit correctly. The back cover does not align with the camera and the stylus has move slightly making the fit very clumsy. it is still functional as a kickstand though. They keyboard fits but feels very lose when attached. It is also very sporadic when using the keyboard and really unusable. Just thought I would share that info with anyone considering the upgrade.

It's definitely not. I'm having trouble finding a reason to upgrade from the S7+.

I've caved in and doing it every year basically. I justify it by simply thinking about how much I use the products vs cost. Few hundred bucks a year for something I use literally daily is more than justified to me. And I also think about the fact that the longer I hang on to it the more it'll cost me to trade it in lol, so what am I saving really?

Then I also consider how much I spend on other crap through the year that I get no use out of.

It also depends on if you're a fully working adult vs a young guy living on the cheap at which point I am questioning why you're buying flagship model electronics.

Seems straight forward to me

Traded in my S7FE for this S9+ deal. I actually still have my original S6+ that is running faster than my S7FE. I let my son use the S6 for occasional educational uses. The Lego app is great for providing step-by-step instructions so I don't have to hold onto to the paper manuals!

I did the S22u + S8 plus trade in for S23U + S9 ultra in September.
Kind of regret but oh well...it was $250 total I need to spend.
One thing with the tab s9 ultra was it is way too big, I have 4 tablets, and I used my Samsung tablet in the bedroom, before, with the S7+ and S8+, it was ok, easy to hold, size is alright. When I opened my S9 ultra box and saw how big that thing is I was like "oh damn that's too big".
I think S9+ would be a better choice but that's just me.
I agree. I currently have S8 Ultra and it feels to big to carry around. I tend to use iPad Air more often because of the size and lighter weight. When there is a better promotion, I'm planning to switch to S9 or S9+.

That S9 Ultra deal looks great with trade-in...about $400 with S8 trade in, but what would I do with a 14.6" tablet? Holy cow, that's big...

Lol. That's why I traded in my S7FE for S9FE instead of this.
After a while I just could not stand the weight even though I like the big display.
Besides it was only like $108 including taxes with all the holiday promos.
I want my tablet to be portable and can come with me while on vacation.
A 15 inch tablet could never meet the requirement...

I bought a S6 Lite 2022 for $134 on ebay a few weeks ago (refurbished, looked new with 1 year warrenty). I decided to do a trade in for the S9, since I felt the S9+ might be a little too big for portability. Total after cashback and added cost of the S6 Lite was about $440 for the Tab S9, and I kept the extra cable, charger, and S-Pen.

The screen on the S9 is such a huge upgrade from the S6 Lite. I've been using it as a extended monitor for my desktop when at home/desk and modded the new Gamsir g8 Galileo controller to fit the tablet so I can use it with emulators, PS Remote Play, Xbox Gamepass, Moonlight/Steam, ect.

Tried to replicate but couldn't, maybe it was expired? Can you check again?
I went to the checkout page and the price adjusted down to $720 again without trade in (with trade in it should be $320). I'm guessing the price on the product page is glitched right now (on the front page, it said this current offer was available until 2/2). Not surprised given samsungs horrible site.

$108 is a great deal for the S9FE. I got my S8 with pen and keyboard cover for $250 in 2022. It's perfect so I don't have much motivation to upgrade plus if I add on a keyboard cover that adds another $200.

The S9FE does not include their AMOLED screen like the S9 series has so I haven't considered that model.

In September there will be bundle deals which are typically the best deals.

You typically get tablet trade-in for the new tab for FREE, yes you heard that right... For FREE.

And you get a phone trade-in for ~$250-$350

So in total you'll pay only for the phone trade-in.

Now it's up to you if you can wait until September or not lol
I totally agree. I was able to trade in my s22 u to s23 u and s8 u to s9u for around 200$ plus taxes.

Yeah I did the same. If you're going to "upgrade" for the sake of upgrading you're better off doing it every September timeframe rather than every February.

Did the S7 FE 3 years ago for $250 after trading in an old iPad. It's mostly used to play downloaded youtube videos for the kiddo on car rides. For the most part it's fine. It's the lag and unresponsiveness when using that bugs me. Apple really ruined me with its buttery smooth experience. Hopefully this will be an improvement.
