I use this secondary to a smoke alarm / carbon monoxide detectors I have installed. I like having the digital display and that it refreshes every 15 seconds. Also, the Peak button is nice to see if there was a higher number detected.

Like others said, my previous order was $28 in 2020 for this same model.
I could be wrong, but I believe it's around 10 years. From what I remember from the instructions is that it will start beeping when it's close to its end date.
